On Tuesday, Israeli soldiers assaulted and injured a young Palestinian man before abducting him in the Old City of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers, stationed at a military roadblock in the Salayma neighborhood, repeatedly assaulted the young man, causing various wounds, before the locals intervened.
They added that the soldiers almost shot the young man if the locals did not intervene, and later called for a military ambulance and took him to an unknown location.
The incident took place near the illegal Kiryat Arba’ colony, built on Palestinian lands east of Hebron.
