On Saturday, Israeli forces abducted a Palestinian young man after assaulting him while he was near the town of Al-Auja, north of Jericho in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
According to Kamal Bani Odeh, occupation forces assaulted and abducted the young man, Awad Muhammad Qaqouni, 27, while he was in the vicinity of Al-Auja town, north of Jericho
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported that Israeli soldiers abducted at least twenty young men between Friday and Saturday, concentrated in the Jenin, Qalqilia, Jerusalem, and Hebron governorates.
The PPS added that occupation forces have abducted more than 10,800 Palestinians from the West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the besieged and devastated Gaza Strip. on October 7, 2023.
In related news, Israeli forces invaded the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron in the southern West Bank, storming and searching several citizens’ homes; no protests or arrests were reported.
