On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers attacked dozens of Palestinians who nonviolently marched in Shoufa village, southeast of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, causing several injuries.

Media sources said the residents marched carrying Palestinian flags and chanting for ongoing resistance until liberation and independence.

They added that the protesters also demanded an end to the siege on Shoufa village, imposed by Israel many years ago to benefit the illegal Avnie Hefetz illegal colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.

The soldiers fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at the nonviolent protesters, causing many injuries.

Besides the closures and ongoing invasions by the army, illegal Israeli colonizers also frequently attacked the villagers, their homes, and their lands.
