On Saturday night, Israeli soldiers invaded Ethna town, west of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, and detained a teenage girl.
Media sources reported that the soldiers invaded the town before storming and ransacking the home of Jihad Tmeizi, whom the soldiers assaulted along with his family.
They added that the soldiers then abducted Jihad’s daughter, Shatha, 16, and took her to their military tower at the entrance of the town, where they detained her for a few hours before releasing her.
In related news, the soldiers installed a military roadblock at the entrance of Beit Awwa town, west of Hebron, stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
Also, several military jeeps invaded Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank and closed several streets and intersections before withdrawing.
