On Sunday night, Israeli forces abused family members of two Palestinian young men in Qaffin town, north of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank. Soldiers also opened fire with live rounds in the streets of Kafr Al-Labad, east of the city, and hurled a concussion grenade at an elderly man.

Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed the town of Qaffin, broke into and ransacked the home of a current prisoner, detained and abused its residents in an attempt to pressure their two sons to turn themselves in.

Al-Qastal News reported that Israeli soldiers abducted the two brothers, Imran and Mohammad Fathi al-Khatib, from the town of Qaffin, adding that their father, Fathi, has been in Israeli prison for 23 years. The same source said that the army abducted their brother, Ahmad, a journalist, two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, occupation forces also invaded the towns of Illar and Saida, northeast of Tulkarem city, in addition to the towns of Kafr Al-Labad and Anabta, to the east.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the town of Kafr Al-Labad, deployed infantry units through the streets, adding that the soldiers opened heavy live fire.

The sources added that invaded several homes, stopped and searched the many vehicles travelling in the area, and opened fire at security cameras.

After stopping his vehicle, occupation forces hurled a concussion grenade at the elderly citizen, Tayseer Aboudi; no injuries were reported.

Palestine TV reported that occupation soldiers deployed in the vicinity of the Anabta municipality building, abused a number of young men in the area, without any reports of arrests.

In related news, Israeli forces stormed the center of Tulkarem city, near the Thabet Thabet roundabout, before dawn on Monday, according to Al-Qastal News.
