On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers fired live rounds at a Palestinian car in Al-Khader town, south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, before abducting its driver.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded the area of the southern entrance of the town, known as Nashash area by the Jerusalem-Hebron Road, and fired live rounds at the car.
They added that the soldiers then attacked the driver before abducting and taking him to a nearby military base.
The soldiers also invaded and closed several areas in Al-Khader, including Al-Bawwaba, Nashash, Dar Mousa, Wa’ar Amer, Abu Surra, and Bakoush, and closed the main Jerusalem-Hebron road, before stopping and searching dozens of cars and interrogating the Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
The soldiers also invaded and searched shops and stores in the area before forcing them to close.
Also on Tuesday, Israeli occupation soldiers demolished a recreational park, including playgrounds and a wedding hall, in Beit Sahour, east of Bethlehem.
