On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers invaded Nahhalin town, west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, and forced a Palestinian to demolish his four commercial sheds.
Mohammad Issa Musallam said the soldiers invaded his land, five Dunams in the Al-Baqar Valley, in the northern area of Nahhalin, and forced him to demolish his sheds.
Musallam added that he was forced to demolish a blacksmith workshop, an aluminum workshop, a car repair facility, and a small restaurant.
It is worth mentioning that the army previously ordered the Palestinian to pay a 25.000 Shekels fine and handed him the demolition orders allegedly for not having a license from the so-called “Civil Administration Office,” the administrative branch of the illegal occupation, although the local town council licensed them.
The Palestinian said his losses were more than 500.000 Shekels and added that he had to demolish his property to avoid the even much higher fines and fees he would incur if the army carried the demolition out using its equipment.
