Israeli soldiers injured, on Wednesday evening, seventeen Palestinians, including two who were shot with the rubber-coated steel bullets, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Media sources said the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at Palestinians, who marched in condemnation of the Israeli escalation in various parts of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has confirmed that its medics provided treatment to two Palestinians who were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets, and to fifteen who suffered cuts and bruises, in addition to the severe effects of tear gas inhalation.

In related news, the soldiers abducted Bara’ Ibrahim Hreinat, 24, from Yatta town, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, while crossing the “Container” military roadblock, northeast of Bethlehem.

Furthermore, the soldiers abducted a child, identified as Abed Ziad Arafa, 17, after the army invaded Um Rokba area in the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.

The soldiers also invaded and ransacked many homes in the al-Baq’a area and Jabal Johar, in Hebron city.

Several Palestinians were also injured, mainly due to the effects of tear gas inhalation, in the al-‘Arqa village, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
