On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers injured a Palestinian child and caused dozens of residents to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded the town, especially the Tahta neighborhood, and assaulted a child, 13, while walking towards his home.
The sources added that the child suffered wounds to his collarbone and other parts of his body before Palestinian medics rushed him to a local clinic.
The soldiers also invaded and ransacked many homes during the invasion that was carried out just before Iftar after a long day of fasting, and stayed in some homes for a few hours, leading to protests.
The army then fired many rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
