On Monday, a Palestinian was injured when Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters at residents in the village of Umm Lasfa, in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Osama Makhamra, a local nonviolent activist against illegal Israeli colonialist activities, stated that the soldiers invaded the village of Umm Lasfa and fired tear gas bombs at the residents.
He added that one Palestinian, Mahmoud Hassan Dawood, fainted due to the severe effects of tear gas inhalation before medics took him to Yatta Governmental Hospital for treatment.
Additionally, the soldiers confiscated a vehicle and blacksmithing equipment from a workshop and caused extensive damage to several homes belonging to the Dawood family in the village.
They also seized Moath Hamamda’s car while traveling on the bypass road south of Hebron and fined him 2,500 shekels.
In a related context, the soldiers invaded the village of Ma’in in the town of Al-Karmel, east of Yatta, south of Hebron.
