On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians in Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied Wes Bank, and in Beit Ummar town, north of the city.
Media sources said the soldiers attacked protesters in the Bab Az-Zawiya and Jabal Johar areas in Hebron city and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
They added that the soldiers also fired several gas bombs and concussion grenades at Palestinian homes in the two areas.
In Beit Ummar town, the army attacked Palestinian protesters with live rounds, including expanding bullets, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers shot a young man with an expanding bullet, causing moderate wounds.
The Health Ministry added that the soldiers also shot eight Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, lacerations, and bruises.
In related news, the soldiers abducted Kifah Nasser Alawna, from Jaba’ town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, after stopping him at a sudden military roadblock near Tulkarem.
Also Friday, the soldiers injured eight Palestinians during the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum village, east of Qalqilia, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
