On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians in Ethna town, west of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Media sources said many army vehicles invaded the town and closed intersections, leading to protests, before the soldiers fired live rounds, gas bombs and concussion grenades.
They added that many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, before the medics provided them with the needed treatment.
During the invasion, the soldiers broke into the home of the town’s mayor, Jaber Tmeiza, and interrogated his son, Khaled.
The soldiers also invaded and ransacked several homes and forced the shops to close, especially in the western area of the town.
