Israeli soldiers injured, on Monday at dawn, six Palestinians, including a young woman, and abducted five, in Jenin, in northern West Bank.
Several army jeeps invaded the city and attacked Palestinians who protested the invasion.
The soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, wounding six Palestinians.
Medical sources said five young men were shot with live rounds in the chest, arms, and lower extremities, and added that a young woman, identified as Aya Ghazi as-Souqi, was also shot in the left leg while in her home.
The soldiers also stormed and ransacked many homes, and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Hussein Amin Samadi, in addition to Adham Khaled Abu Aisha.
Furthermore, undercover Israeli soldiers kidnapped two siblings, identified as Omar and Aseed Bayan Abed, in addition to Mo’tasem Omar Steiti, and confiscated their mobile phones.
The soldiers also fired a barrage of live rounds at Civil Defense vehicles, including fire trucks and ambulances, while parked in their headquarters on Nablus Street, causing damage to four of them, in addition to destroying a power transformer, causing a blackout that lasted for several hours.
