On Monday dawn, the first day of 2024, Israeli soldiers invaded Kafr Ein village and Al-Biereh city, northwest and north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, searched homes and abducted a young man.
Media sources said several army vehicles invaded Kafr Ein village and closed several streets, leading to protests.
They added that the soldiers fired several live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
In Al-Biereh, the soldiers abducted Mahmoud Az-Zeq after storming and ransacking his home near the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
On Sunday night, the soldiers invaded Silwad town, east of Ramallah, stormed and ransacked several homes, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
Among the invaded homes are those of political prisoner Islam Hasan Mer’ery and his brother Khalil Mer’ey.
On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers shot and abducted a young Palestinian man near the illegal Maale Adumim colony east of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
On Sunday, The Israeli army shot two Palestinians, including a child in the Ein Al-Sultan refugee camp near Jericho in the northeastern part of the West Bank, and assaulted workers in Hebron.
On Sunday dawn, Israeli soldiers injured three Palestinians with live fire and abducted at least four, including a father and his son, in Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
