Israeli occupation forces shot and injured a 14‑year‑old child and opened fire at a civilian vehicle during an attack by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, on Saturday evening.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics treated the child after he was wounded by live fire during an Israeli military invasion of Beit Furik.

Local sources reported that a group of illegal paramilitary colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, invaded a neighborhood in the town. The soldiers fired extensive live ammunition at residents who attempted to repel the assault.

During the attack, the soldiers shot at a vehicle driven by Mohammad Shouli, shattering its windows before forcing him out and assaulting him, causing cuts and bruises.

Also Saturday, Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, storming communities, breaking into, and ransacking dozens of homes, abducting civilians, and deploying military units in several towns, villages, and refugee camps.
