On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian child near Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said the soldiers shot the child, 12 years of age, with a live round in the lower back, causing moderate wounds.

They added that the child was on Palestinian land near the illegal Annexation Wall in the Al-Arqa village, southwest of Jenin.

Palestinian medics rushed to the area and provided the needed first aid before rushing the moderately wounded child to a hospital in Jenin.
