On Friday, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, while paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked worshippers in a mosque in Beit Furik, east of the city in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
According to media sources, several military jeeps invaded Beita, triggering protests. During the unrest, the soldiers fired live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, and tear gas canisters.
A young man was shot in the abdomen with live ammunition, and several Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation.
During the incursion, the soldiers employed surveillance drones and blocked several streets in the town.
In a related incident, a group of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers raided the village of Khirbet Tana near Beit Furik, east of Nablus. They stormed the Beit ash-Sheikh Mosque and assaulted worshippers.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli soldiers accompanying the colonizers also assaulted several Palestinians, detained and interrogated some individuals while inspecting their ID cards.
In the Northern Plains of the Jordan Valley, many colonizers invaded grazing lands in the al-Farisiyya Bedouin village. During the raid, they killed two sheep belonging to Luay Daraghma.
The area frequently experiences violations, including assaults on Palestinians, theft of their livestock, and destruction of property.
Late Wednesday night, Israeli soldiers fatally shot a young Palestinian man near Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded an area near Huwwara town, south of Nablus, leading to protest, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs.
They added that the soldiers fatally shot Ismael Samer Othman Shorafa, 18, from Beita town, south of Nablus.
On Tuesday before dawn, Israeli forces assassinated a Palestinian young man, Baraa Saleh Khalil Yousef Maskawi,19, and injured others before dawn Tuesday, after special forces besieged a commercial shop in the city of Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
The number of slain Palestinians in the West Bank since the beginning of this year is now 112; 49 in Jenin, 19 in Tubas, 14 in Tulkarem, 14 in Nablus, 5 in Hebron, 3 in Bethlehem, 3 in Qalqilia, 1 in Salfit, 1 in Ramallah, and 3 in Jerusalem.
