On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man in the city of Al‑Bireh in the central West Bank. Invasions and injuries were also reported near Jerusalem and Hebron.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) stated that its medics treated the young man after he sustained a head injury when soldiers shot him with a rubber‑coated steel bullet in the Sateh Marhaba area of the city.

Local sources reported that numerous Israeli military vehicles invaded Sateh Marhaba in Al‑Bireh and the Al‑Am’ari refugee camp, closing streets and triggering protests. The soldiers fired live rounds, rubber‑coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at residents.

In related news, Israeli soldiers invaded the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and surrounded a mosque, preventing worshippers from leaving following evening prayers.

In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, Israeli soldiers invaded the town of Ethna, west of the city, and forced shops to close, leading to protests. The soldiers fired live rounds and gas bombs, causing several Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear‑gas inhalation.

Earlier Sunday, Israeli forces carried out a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank, breaking into homes, assaulting residents, and abducting eight Palestinians, including three children, in Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, Nablus in the northern West Bank, Jenin in the northern West Bank, Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, and occupied Jerusalem.
