Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man, on Thursday, and stormed the homes of released detainees in the town of Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces invaded the town of Beit Rima, on Thursday evening, sparking protests among Palestinian youths, while soldiers opened fire with live rounds.
He added that soldiers shot a young man in the leg with live ammunition, and proceeded to detain him for a period of time, before releasing him and allowing medics to transport him to the hospital; his condition was not known at the time of writing this report.
Israeli forces stormed and searched the homes of Palestinian detainees who were released by the occupation authorities at dawn Thursday as a part of the ceasefire agreement.
Media sources said that the army invaded the homes of the released detainees, Tamer Salim al-Rimawi, William Sameh al-Rimawi, and Omar Samir al-Rimawi, who were deported to Egypt as a condition for their release.
Meanwhile, on Thursday morning, occupation forces summoned five released detainees for intelligence review at the Qishla Investigation Center in occupied Jerusalem.
Media sources identified the detainees as Hamza Al-Kalouti, Ahed Al-Natsheh, Muhammad Abed, Khaled Al-Halabi, and Ahmed Nasla, all of whom were released on Thursday as a part of the ceasefire agreement.
Furthermore, the army stormed the family home of a released detainee, before dawn Thursday, and threatened his family members against holding celebrations for his release.
Media sources said that Israeli forces invaded the home of the detainee, Rasem Hamamreh, in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Sources added that the army stormed the home of the young man’s father in Husan town, and warned him against hosting celebrations upon his son’s release.
