On Sunday, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man near the al-Hamra military roadblock north of Jericho in the northeastern West Bank.

The Palestinian, Ayed Nayef Ka’abna, 25, was moderately injured and was moved to a hospital in Jericho.

The soldiers at the permanent military roadblock stopped, searched many cars, and interrogated several Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

It remains unknown why the soldiers shot the young man, especially since there were no reports of incidents or protests in the area.

In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers assaulted a young man near the mean entrance of Sur Baher town, southeast of the city, and abducted him.
