On Thursday, Israeli occupation soldiers shot a Palestinian child and abducted a woman during an attempt to repel an attack by illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers, in Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank’s central part.

Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers targeted the child, shooting him in the abdomen in the Al-Khalayel area, south of Al-Mughayyir, as residents tried to defend the home of Palestinian citizen Rezeq Abu Naim from when the colonizers attacked it.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its medical teams treated a 15-year-old boy who had been shot in the abdomen before transferring him to the hospital for urgent care.

Israeli forces also abducted 30-year-old Fatima Abu Naim, a resident of Al-Khalayel, after the colonizers stormed her neighborhood.

The attack unfolded as the colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, assaulted Abu Naim’s family and physically attacked a Palestinian woman.

Following the assault, larger groups of colonizers were seen gathering on a hilltop overlooking Al-Khalayel, prompting calls for residents to mobilize in support of Abu Naim’s family, fearing a broader attack.

In related news, Israeli paramilitary colonizers invaded Bruqin town, west of Salfit in the central West Bank, and burnt a bulldozer, owed by Rami Sabra.

It is worth mentioning that, since morning hours, several Israeli military vehicles, including five bulldozers, invaded the town and began bulldozing and uprooting Palestinian lands near the residents’ home to establish a new segregated colonialist street.
