On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded Jenin City and the Jenin refugee camp, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, and injured six Palestinians, two seriously.
The head of the Jenin governmental hospital, Wisam Bakr, said the soldiers shot four Palestinians with live rounds, including two who suffered serious gunshot wounds to the chest and the abdomen.
The Palestinians were shot during protests that erupted after many army vehicles, including an armored bulldozer, invaded Jenin, and the Jenin refugee camp, and started bulldozing streets and destroying infrastructure, in Jenin and the outskirts of the Jenin refugee camp, while military drones flew overhead.
Besides destroying infrastructure, the military bulldozers also caused damage to several homes in the refugee camp and the Saha area, in addition to causing a blackout in various parts of the city and the refugee camp.
The army also invaded the Industrial Zone in Jenin, causing damage and leading to protests.
In addition, the army invaded a currency exchange shop in Jenin city, and detained its owner, Hani Abu Moweis, for several hours, and rammed several cars with their armored jeep, wounding two Palestinians, including a woman, 55, before they were moved to Ibin Sina Hospital, in Jenin.
On Monday night and Tuesday dawn, Palestinian medical sources announced the death of four Palestinians, including a child, who were shot by Israeli army fire and added that more than ten Palestinians were injured when the army invaded Aqaba town, and nearby Tubas city, in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.
The slain Palestinians have been identified as Nour Mohammad Yassin Al-Yassin, 19, Ameed Yassin Ghannam, 19, Bilal Ezzeddin Sawafta, 14, and Aysar Abu ‘Arra, 37.
