On Wednesday morning, Israeli soldiers shot two Palestinians, including a child who was also abducted, in Qalqilia and Ramallah, in the northwestern and the central parts of the occupied West Bank.
Several military jeeps invaded Qalqilia, leading to protests, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
Media sources said the soldiers shot Ahmad Abdul-Rahman Yassin, 16, with a live round in the leg before abducting him.
The soldiers also invaded Abwein village, northwest of Ramallah, and shot a young man with a live round during ensuing protests.
The soldiers tried but were unable to abduct the young man, and he was moved to a hospital in Ramallah.
At dawn Wednesday, the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes across the West Bank and abducted dozens of Palestinians, including at least 16 in Hizma town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
