Israeli forces carried out multiple violations across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, including invasions of Palestinian communities, home demolitions, assaults, and the abduction of several residents, while illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers escalated attacks in various areas.

Worker Shot Near the Annexation Wall in Occupied Jerusalem

A Palestinian worker was shot and injured on Sunday evening in the town of ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its medics treated a man who was shot in both legs with live ammunition while attempting to cross the illegal Annexation Wall.

The PRCS added that its medics transferred the wounded man to a hospital for further treatment.

Demolition Orders Target More Than 20 Homes in Anata

Israeli authorities issued demolition and evacuation orders targeting more than 20 residential, agricultural, and commercial structures in the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, threatening to displace dozens of families.

The Jerusalem Governorate stated that Israeli forces delivered the demolition notices in the Wadi al-Beik area under the pretext of building without a permit, part of an ongoing policy aimed at restricting Palestinian presence and construction.

The soldiers also fired large quantities of tear gas and concussion grenades at residents in the area, causing multiple cases of inhalation injuries, particularly near the targeted homes.

The town of Anata, like many areas in occupied Jerusalem, faces systematic demolition policies and repeated distribution of demolition orders designed to pressure Palestinian residents and limit their ability to build.

Soldiers Invade Deir Jarir in the Central West Bank

Israeli forces invaded the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah in the central West Bank, on Sunday evening.

Local sources said military vehicles patrolled the streets, though no home break-ins or abductions were reported.

Deir Jarir and surrounding villages frequently experience invasions by occupation forces in addition to ongoing attacks by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers.

Colonizers Invade Tal al-‘Asur Area Near Ramallah

Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded the Tal al-‘Asur area between Deir Jarir and Silwad, east of Ramallah in the central West Bank.

Two Palestinians Abducted Near Jericho

Israeli forces abducted two young men from the village of al-Jiftlik, north of Jericho in the Jordan Valley.

The director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society in Jericho and the Jordan Valley said the abducted men were identified as Osama Mohammad Omar D’eis and Noureddin Omar Mohammad D’eis.

Two Palestinians Abducted from a Refugee Camp Near Tubas

Israeli forces also abducted two Palestinians from the al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas in the northeastern West Bank.

The director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society in Tubas said the two men, Ahmad Salah Hassan Sawalma, 39, and Mahmoud Mohammad Ali Walwil, 31, were summoned for interrogation at the Salem military base before being taken into custody.

Journalist Abducted in Occupied Jerusalem

Israeli forces abducted Palestinian journalist Nisrin Salem on Sunday evening from az-Zahra Street in occupied Jerusalem while she was reporting on events in the city.

Salem, a field reporter, has previously faced threats and harassment during her professional work, reflecting ongoing restrictions on press freedom in occupied Jerusalem.

Couple Assaulted During Home Invasion in the Southern West Bank

A Palestinian man and his wife were injured after Israeli forces invaded their home in the town of Bani Neim, east of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

Sources from the municipality said soldiers broke into the home of the Rajabi family and assaulted its occupants, causing bruises and injuries to Kamel Rajabi and his wife.

Both were transferred to Hebron Governmental Hospital, where their conditions were described as moderate.

In related news, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers released their cattle and camels onto Palestinian-owned lands in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, while others stole a vehicle, as Israeli forces prevented peace activists from documenting the escalating violations.

Media activist Osama Makhamra said colonizers released their livestock across agricultural lands and around Palestinian homes in the Ashkara area and Khirbet al-Majaz in Masafer Yatta, causing damage to crops, trees, and residents’ property.

He added that another group of colonizers stole a vehicle belonging to Palestinian resident Shaddad al-Hamamda in the Hawara area of Masafer Yatta.

Makhamra noted that Israeli forces expelled two Israeli peace activists from Khirbet al-Fakhit and barred them from documenting the ongoing violations, which have sharply intensified in recent weeks and affected multiple communities across Masafer Yatta and the southern Hebron region.

He stressed that these attacks occur under the protection of Israeli forces, which have increased their military presence around nearby colonies.

Colonizers Attack Homes Near Beita in the Northern West Bank

Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, accompanied by Israeli forces, attacked several homes in the al-Harayeq and Bir Qouza areas near Jabal Sbeih in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

Local sources said a paramilitary Israeli colonizer blocked an ambulance and residents from reaching the area.

Local residents mobilized to repel the attack, during which a young man was injured after falling from a height while confronting the colonizers.

Abductions In Nablus 

Israeli soldiers invaded Beit Wazan village, west of Nablus, and abducted a student of the Najah University, Hasan Ashraf Jabr.

The soldiers also abducted a lawyer, Amjad Jabr, and a Najah University student Usaid Na’na’, after storming and ransacking their homes in the Northern Mountain area of Nablus city.

Another Palestinian, Moath Thouqan, was abducted from his home in the Al-Arsad Street in Nablus city.

Also in Nablus, the soldiers abducted a young man, Islam Amer, from his home on Street 10, in Nablus city.

Earlier, the soldiers abducted Khaled Sousa and his son, Anas, from their homes in the Al-Ma’ajin street in Nablus city.

In addition, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, Hamdi Dweikat, from his home in Balata town, east of Nablus.

Palestinian Abducted In Tulkarem, In Northwestern West Bank

Israeli soldiers invaded the Na’alwa neighborhood In Tulkarem city, ransacked a few homes and abducted a Palestinian man, Ramzi Na’alwa.

Colonizers Attack Home in Qusra in the Northern West Bank

Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked a home in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, injuring a resident with a sharp object.

The head of the Qusra municipality said the attack occurred in the Ras al-‘Ein area, where colonizers also smashed windows of a nearby home.

He added that Qusra faces near-daily colonizer violations, targeting the Palestinians, their properties and their lands.

According to the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and colonizers carried out 1,872 violations in January alone, 1,404 by the military and 468 by colonizers. The highest number of violations occurred in Hebron (415), followed by Ramallah and al-Bireh (374), Nablus (328), and occupied Jerusalem (201).
