Israeli forces, on Thursday, abducted at least fourteen Palestinian citizens, including an injured man, a woman, a child, and a former prisoner, and shot at least two young men with with rounds, on of who was seriously injured, in various regions of the occupied West Bank.

Jenin

On Thursday morning, a special Israeli unit, accompanied by many military vehicles, invaded the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its camp, and besieged a residential building in the Al-Jabriyat neighborhood.

Media sources said that soldiers broke down the doors of the residential buildings before invading it, and seized its surveillance cameras, while local Palestinians protested the incursion.

It was added that the army proceeded to abduct Raafat Mustafa Awad, 33, and brutally assaulted Alaa Abu Al-Hehm who was later transported to hospital.

According to Wissam Bakr, the Director of the Jenin Governmental Hospital, a Palestinian young man arrived at the hospital in serious condition after he was shot in the head with live rounds.

Meanwhile, soldiers fired live rounds at an ambulance in the Khallet Al-Souha neighborhood, with no reports of injuries.

Nablus

South of Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces detained the young man, Abboud Mahmoud Snobar, at a flying military roadblock at the entrance to Yatma town, before abducting him.

Ramallah

At dawn Thursday, Israeli forces stormed the Al-Jalazoun camp, north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, shot a young man and then abducted him.

Media sources said that soldiers broke into the home of Saleh Muhammad Hassouna, 28, before shooting him twice with live ammunition, once in the foot, and abducting him.

The condition of the injured young man was not known at the time of writing this report.

According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said that at least thirty soldiers stormed the young man’s home while he and his family were asleep.

It added that soldiers shot him in the foot while he was asleep with his 6-month-old infant and his wife were sleeping nearby.

Occupation troops proceeded to force the young man to take off his clothes, shot him again, tied him up, and abducted him.

Family members provided photos of bone fragments and stated that blood, flesh, and bullets were found in the home.

On Thursday night, occupation forces invaded the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

Initially an undercover unit infiltrated the town, followed by reinforcements, before soldiers stormed and search several homes.

The army fired rubber-coated steel rounds at those who resisted the incursion, shooting a young man in the head.

Occupied Jerusalem

An unidentified Palestinian female was abducted by Israeli soldiers at the “Jaba'” military roadblock, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Bethlehem

In the village of Beit Ta’mir, southeast of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, soldiers invaded and searched many homes and abducted the young man, Muhammad Ashraf Abayat, 21.

Hebron

Furthermore, the Israeli army invaded the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and the town of Halhul, north of the city, stormed many homes and abducted several Palestinians, including a child and a former prisoner.

In Hebron, soldiers abducted Amin al-Titi and his child, whose identity was not released, in addition to the young man, Ammar Khaled al-Zaatari.

In Halhul, soldiers abducted the former prisoner, Muhammad Walid Zama’ra, Uday Abdel Hamid Younis, Sharaf Adel Abu Widya Al-Zama’ra, Muhammad Amjad Al-Arja Zama’ra, Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Barbarawi, and Raafat Atef Abu Saima.

According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Israeli forces have abducted 7,325 Palestinian citizens since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023.
