In the early dawn hours, Friday, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man and abducted a father and his son in the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded the main entrance area of the refugee camp, and fired live rounds at a car, wounding its driver.

They added that, after shooting the Palestinian, the soldiers prevented Palestinian medics from approaching him.

The attack took place after a large military force invaded the refugee camp, before many soldiers stormed and ransacked homes, and were also deployed in areas around the refugee camp.

The army also deployed sharpshooters on rooftops, and stormed and ransacked many shops, causing serious damage, and leading to protests.

The soldiers abducted a Palestinian man, Yousef Manasra, and his son, before taking measurements of the property in preparation for demolishing it in an illegal act of collective punishment.

The Israeli army claimed that Yousef’s other son, Mohammad, was behind the fatal shooting that killed two Israeli colonizers near an illegal Israeli colony before the soldiers shot and killed him.

In related news, several military vehicles invaded Hizma town, northeast of Jerusalem, and fired many flares before withdrawing.

On Thursday evening, the Israeli authorities released the corpse of a slain Palestinian woman the Israeli soldiers killed, on January 7, along with her husband in their car, in addition to a Palestinian child in her parents’ car.

Media sources said the army transferred the body of Doha Nabeeh Abu Eid, from Biddu town, northwest of Jerusalem to the Palestinian medics at a military roadblock northwest of Jerusalem.

On Thursday afternoon, two Israelis were killed and at least one Palestinian, accused of the shooting, was killed near the “Eli” colony, north of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

Also Thursday, Israeli soldiers killed Salahuddin Suleiman Shawamra, 28, and his brother, Najmuddin, 25, and injured their brother, Noureddin, 30.

The slain siblings and their wounded brother are from Doura town, south of Hebron; they were shot near Beit Marsam, southwest of Hebron, while siblings were harvesting ِAkkoub (Thistle).

In addition, The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, on Thursday, that the citizen, Ibrahim Mohammad Ali Mahameed, 59, died as a result of being shot by Israeli forces in the Nur Shams camp, on October 19, 2023.

Furthermore, a Palestinian detainee suffering from cancer died, on Thursday, in Israeli prison, and is the eleventh detainee to die since the beginning of the Israeli aggression against Gaza, on October 7, 2023.

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) announced, on Thursday, the death of the detainee, Assef Refa’ey, 22, who suffered from cancer.

On Wednesday night, Israeli soldiers killed Bashar Nihad Hanani, 35, and shot another young man near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
