Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip continued on Tuesday, with pre-dawn attacks on north, central and southern Gaza for the 88th day in a row.
At least 21 Palestinians, including children and women, were killed and hundreds were wounded in pre-dawn bombardment by Israeli airstrikes and drone strikes.
Various areas of the Gaza Strip witnessed a series of raids by warplanes and drones, and Israeli artillery shelling, causing massive damage.
North of Al-Maghazi camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip witnessed Israeli artillery shelling, and the occupation warships fired heavy shells towards the central governorate in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation aircraft launched violent raids on the center and east of the city of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, while the Israeli occupation artillery bombed the northern neighborhoods of the city, resulting in a number of killed and wounded, most of them children and women.
The areas of the incursion into northern Gaza witnessed violent clashes with the occupation forces, in conjunction with continuous air and artillery bombardment.
In one single airstrike on a home in Dir al-Balah, in central Gaza, 15 Palestinian civilians, mainly women and children, were killed. Many others were injured in the airstrike.
A number of civilians were killed, and others were injured in an Israeli raid on a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. A number of civilians were also injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted the center of the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army spokesperson admitted that, on Monday night, a Palestinians was detained from Gaza, and was moved to an interrogation facility, and when an interrogation session was concluded, a soldier who was “guarding him” shot and killed him.
Earlier on Monday evening, 7 civilians were killed, and others were injured in an Israeli bombing of two homes in Dir al-Balah. 9 civilians were also killed and dozens were injured, as a result of the continued Israeli bombing of Khan Younis.
Tuesday marks the 88th day of Israeli aggression against the 2.3 million people living in the Gaza Strip. At least 21,978 Palestinians have been killed, and 57,697 have been injured, most of them children and women, in addition to thousands of missing persons, according to health sources.
