On Wednesday, a Palestinian young man succumbed to wounds he sustained two months ago after an Israeli airstrike in the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

The army continued its aggression against Tulkarem city and the Tulkarem refugee camp for 31 days, and the Nur Shams refugee camp for 18 days.

Media sources said that the young man, Abdul Rahman Khaled Nawwas, 20, was pronounced dead on Wednesday evening, at the Istishari Hospital in Ramallah, where he was receiving treatment.

Sources added that Nawas sustained missile fragments injuries to the head and chest on December 24, 2024, when an armed Israeli drone fired missiles into the center of the Nur Shams refugee camp, wounding three Palestinian young men, including Nawas.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces notified Palestinian families that their homes in the Nur Shams refugee camp will be demolished, giving them 3 hours to clear out their homes.

Media sources said occupation forces notified the Yousef, Jabali, Mar’i, Abu Shalbaya, Irani, Shihab, Younis, and Ghanem families that their 11 homes will be demolished under the pretext of building a road.

Sources added that the army gave the families from 8:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday to clear out their homes of their belongings.

Occupation forces have forcibly displaced at least 5000 Palestinians from the Nur Shams refugee camp, particularly in the Al-Maslakh, Al-Manshiya, Jabal Al-Salihin, and Al-Nasr neighborhoods.

In a statement, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that it received dozens of distress calls from Palestinian families in the Jabal al-Nasr area of ​​the Nur Shams refugee camp.

The statement added that PRCS ambulance crews coordinated the evacuation of a number of Palestinian families from the camp, while occupation forces maintained their siege on the camp.

Meanwhile, in the Tulkarem refugee camp, occupation forces have razed at least 26 Palestinian homes and residential buildings, in the past several days, while more than 12000 citizens have been forcibly displaced from the Tulkarem refugee camp.

In related news, the army killed the childHamed Fadl Muwafi, 17, after shooting him in the head with live rounds, while he was near the separation wall, built on Palestinian lands in Qalqilia city.

Since the beginning of the year, occupation forces have killed 91 Palestinians, including 16 children in various regions of the occupied West Bank.

According to the Shireen Observatory, Israeli forces have killed 40 citizens in Jenin, 18 in Tubas, 14 in Tulkarem, 10 in Nablus, 5 in Hebron, 2 in Bethlehem, 1 in Qalqilia, and 1 in occupied Jerusalem.
