On Thursday afternoon, two Israeli colonizers and one Palestinian, accused of shooting shooting them, were killed near the “Eli” colony, north of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
Israeli sources said the shooting attack led to the death of two Israelis, identified as Yitzhak Zeiger, 57, from the Shavei Shomron colony, and Uria Hartum, 16, from Dolev colony, in the occupied West Bank, and took place at a gas station near the entrance to the illegal “Eli” settlement, north of Ramallah. They added that Uria was hitching a ride with Zeiger.
Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency services said the two were found inside a vehicle in critical condition, were later pronounced dead.

Israeli sources said the Palestinian who was killed after carrying out the shooting attack with an assault rifle, has been identified as Mohammad Yousef Thiab Manasra, 31, a former political prisoner imprisoned by Israel between 2018 and 2019, and an interrogator with the Palestinian Police.
The Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) said Israeli forces opened fire at the young man at the entrance to the “Eli” settlement, left him bleeding on the ground, denying him medical treatment.
After the incident, Israeli forces escalated their security measures at many military roadblocks surrounding the city of Nablus, including Beit Furik, Awarta, Huwwara, Za’tara, Al-Murabba, and Deir Sharaf.
Soldiers impeded the movement of citizens, conducting thorough inspections of vehicles and citizens’ ID cards, causing several traffic crises.
The army also closed the Burin village intersection, south of Nablus, and fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at vehicles.
WAFA reported that after the incident, dozens of armed Israeli colonizers arrived in the area, and attacked citizens’ vehicles on the Ramallah-Nablus Road.
Colonists attacked citizens’ vehicles on the main Huwwara Street, at the Awarta Junction, near the Za’tara checkpoint, and at the southern entrance to the village of Madama, south of Nablus
On Thursday night, an Israeli colonizer injured the citizen, Mahdi Samir Mahmoud Al-Azza, after running him over and assaulting him near the entrance to the village of Al-Laban Al-Sharqiya; he was transported to hospital for treatment.
The colonizers also destroyed vehicles belonging to the Al-Azza family and were trying to attack homes located on the main street of the village.
Later it was reported that illegal colonists hurled rocks at Khalil Azzam Aassi, causing a head injury, while he driving his vehicle through the Za’tara military roadblock, south of Nablus.
Israeli forces have killed 418 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza strip, on October 7, 2023.
