In the northern occupied West Bank, on Sunday, a young Palestinian man succumbed to critical gunshot wounds he sustained during the military invasion of the Balata refugee camp east of Nablus.
According to medical sources at the Al-Najah Hospital, Rasmi Fayez Arafat, 35, died as a result of serious gunshot wounds inflicted on him by the occupation army during the pre-dawn storming of the camp Sunday.
Another Palestinian young man was pronounced dead, on Sunday, after Israeli forces shot and seriously wounded him during the pre-dawn military invasion of the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Bethlehem said that Hussein Youssef Rabie, 25, was shot in the head by Israeli forces during the pre-dawn incursion into the camp, and was not located until he had lost a large amount of blood.
The young man was transferred to Beit Jala Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead from a critical gunshot wound to the head.
Israeli soldiers shot and killed three Palestinian young men during pre-dawn attacks near Nablus, Tubas and Ramallah, while dozens of others sustained injuries.
The total number of Palestinians killed on Sunday reached six, including one man who was shot and killed by an illegal Israeli settler near the central West Bank city of Salfit.
In related news, Israeli forces invaded Orif village, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, sparking protests among the local youths.
Soldiers opened live fire towards the young men, shooting a 14-year-old child in the thigh. The child was transported to hospital for medical intervention.
Meanwhile, occupation soldiers stormed, on Sunday evening, the eastern part of Nablus city, triggering protests among the local youths.
Soldier fired live rounds and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion, shooting and injuring two children, aged 14 and 16-years old, were shot with live ammunition, one in the foot, and the other child in his side.
Many others suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation. The wounded children were transported to a local hospital for medical intervention.
