Dozens of Palestinians were injured near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, Sunday, from teargas fired by Israeli soldiers at Palestinians protesting Israel’s recent attacks on Gaza, according to witnesses.

Students from Birzeit University were demonstrating at the Israeli army roadblock in Ramallah and were attacked with teargas, said the witnesses, causing dozens of injuries.

The military roadblock was closed after this incident, WAFA further reports.

Two youth were injured by Israeli fire, previously. One was shot in the foot with live ammunition and the other was struck in the head by a rubber-coated steel bullet.
