On Saturday, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian photojournalist while telling them he is a journalist, in Al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank, after illegal colonizers attacked homes.

Media sources said several illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded the town and attacked several homes in the Um Rokba area in the southern part of Al-Khader.

They added that the Palestinians intercepted the assailants before the soldiers invaded the town and fired several live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at them.

The soldiers also targeted Palestinian photojournalist, Abdul-Rahman Hassan, with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the leg while walking towards the invaded area.

In a video, recorded by the wounded journalist himself, he could be heard telling the soldiers “Press, Press” before they shot him.

Palestinian medics provided the needed treatment to the wounded Palestinians without needing hospitalization.
