Groups of Israeli settlers entered Al Aqsa Mosque, this morning, under tight protection of Israeli police and special forces.
PNN reports that, according to the Palestinian Information Center, the extremists aimed at carrying out Talmudic rituals during their tours. As a reaction, Palestinian worshipers started chanting “Allahu Akbar (God is Greatest)”, to express their anger.

Overall, since October 2015, tensions remain in Al-Aqsa and in its surroundings. Israeli police are still maintaining restrictions regarding the access of Palestinians to the holy site, while settlers have repeatedly entered it under high protection.
