Israeli forces abducted, on Wednesday, at least ninety Palestinian citizens, including forty workers from Gaza and three women, while shooting at least two during confrontations in various regions of the occupied West Bank.
Jenin
In the northern West Bank, occupation forces abducted a citizen of Jenin, identified as Hassan Munir Khamaysa, a civil defense employee, when he tried passing through a military roadblock near the town of Deir Sharaf, west of Nablus.
North of Jenin, the army abducted Islam Al-Disi and Muhammad Salit and confiscated their vehicle near Al-Jalama village.
Tulkarem
Israeli soldiers abducted three Palestinians, including two former prisoners, in the Tulkarem governorate in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
They were identified as Muhammad Raed Abdo, the former prisoner, Muhammad Issam Qafini, 25, and the former prisoner, Nimr Mufid al-Miskawi, 44.
Qalqilia
In the northwestern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces abducted six Palestinians from the city of Qalqilia in addition to forty unidentified workers from the Gaza Strip who were expelled from Israel after the beginning of the military onslaught against Gaza on October 7, 2024.
Soldiers abducted Othman Daoud, Muhammad Khalil Owaisi, the brothers, Imran and Ziad Jamal Owaisi, Yasser Owaisi, and his son, Ibrahim, in addition to 40 workers from the Gaza Strip.
Nablus
The army abducted two citizens of the Balata refugee camp, identified as Suleiman Jamal Hashash and Hamada Saed Al-Mahr when they attempted to pass through the Awarta military roadblock south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
South of Nablus, soldiers invaded the town of Qabalan, heavily firing live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters, causing several citizens to sustain inhalation injuries.
Jericho
In the northeastern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces abducted three Palestinians, including two brothers, one of whom was shot, from the Jericho governorate.
They were identified as the two brothers Shams al-Hussein, whom soldiers shot, and Salah al-Hussein, in addition to Karim Hamdan.
Jordan Valley
In the northern Jordan Valley, Israeli soldiers abducted Azzam Abd Rabbo Bani Odeh while he was grazing his livestock in the Al-Sakot area.
Ramallah
In the central west Bank, occupation forces abducted eleven Palestinians, including a child and a woman from the Ramallah and Al-Biereh governorate.
They were identified as, Mahmoud Abdullah Al-Alem, 16, Muhammad Ahmed Abu Jabr, 20, Anas Ayoub Obaid, 28, Hussein Othman Abu Hamad, 40, Muhammad Alaa Hujair, Maysam Khaled Thalji Musleh, Ayman Farhat, Salah Wafiq Saleh Bazar, 47, the female teacher, Badriya Ahmed, the former prisoner, Muhammad Maher Fuqaha, in addition to Muhammad Sari Hamayel while he tried to pass through a flying military roadblock near the town of Turmus’ayyeh, northeast of Ramallah.
Occupied Jerusalem
South of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Israeli forces abducted Noman Abu Sneina from the Ain al-Loza neighborhood in Silwan town, in occupied East Jerusalem.
Northwest of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces abducted a Palestinian young woman, Rahma Misbah Mahmoud Tabanga, 30, in the village of Beit Surik.
Bethlehem
In the southern West Bank, occupation forces abducted five Palestinians, including an elderly man from the Bethlehem governorate.
They were identified as Khaled Saifi, 65, Al-Shin Iyas Hussein Shaheen, Imad and Abdullah Mazhar, and Muwaffaq Nazih Badawna.
On Wednesday evening, the soldiers abducted a lawyer, Dalia Ayesh, after stopping her at the Container military roadblock northeast of Bethlehem.
A Palestinian teen, Nour Yasser Al-Ammarin, 19, from the Al-Azza refugee camp, was abducted after being summoned by Israeli intelligence for interrogation.
Hebron
In the southern occupied West Bank, Israeli troops abducted ten Palestinians from the Hebron governorate, they were identified as Izz al-Din Hamdi al-Awiwi, Ahmed Ayoub Ishaq al-Jamal, Ashraf Anwar al-Qadi, Fadi al-Amour, Muhammad Ali Zaidat, Ali Ahmed Ayesh Zaidat, Abdel Nasser Ali Zaidat, Fadi Yousef Zaidat, Muhammad Abu Sneina, and Muhammad Mahmoud Fawzi Amr.
West of Hebron, Israeli soldiers stationed at the entrance to Idhna town, assaulted and abducted Sultan Dhiyab Awad and Muhammad Nimr Awad.
In related news, several army vehicles invaded Bani Na’im town, east of Hebron, and closed several streets, especially in the center of the town, before stopping and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
The army opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters, shooting a 20-year-old man in the leg with live ammunition; he was transported to hospital.
The Palestinian Detainees’ Committee and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) stated Wednesday that Israeli soldiers have abducted more than 6025 Palestinians in the West Bank alone since October 7, 2023.
They stated that Palestinians were mostly abducted from their homes, in addition to many taken prisoner at military roadblocks, and some had to turn themselves into the army after the soldiers took hostage some members of their families to force them to surrender.
