Israeli forces carried out a series of invasions, abductions, and movement restrictions across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, targeting communities in the Ramallah area in the central West Bank, Hebron in the southern West Bank, Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, and Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
Invasions and Abductions in the Ramallah Area
In the village of al‑Mughayyer, east of Ramallah in the central West Bank, Israeli forces abducted a Palestinian woman, Hidaya Rezeq, from her family’s hamlet of Abu Hammam in the al‑Khalayel area south of the village, along with an international supporter.
Local sources reported that soldiers declared the area a closed military zone and forced others present to leave.
Earlier in the day, an Israeli colonizer blocked an agricultural road leading to Abu Hammam, preventing residents from reaching their land.
On Friday, Israeli forces had also abducted four international supporters from the same area as they attempted to document attacks and assist residents.
That same day, 14‑year‑old Mohammad Saad Na’asan was killed after being shot in the back and chest by Israeli forces during confrontations in al‑Khalayel.
The soldiers invaded the village of Aboud, northwest of Ramallah, and abducted two men—Mahmoud Jihad Dar Saleh, 30, and Mohammad Riyad Dar Saleh, 30—after breaking into a commercial shop.
In a separate incident, soldiers invaded the nearby village of Deir Ammar, though no abductions were reported.
Israeli forces also closed the two main gates at the entrance to Atara, north of Ramallah, disrupting movement for residents of Birzeit and Atara.
At the same time, soldiers installed a military roadblock at the entrance to Ein Siniya, stopping vehicles and inspecting IDs, which caused severe traffic congestion.
In Silwad, east of Ramallah, soldiers abducted a young man—whose identity was not immediately known—and seized his vehicle.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces invaded the nearby town of al‑Mazra’a al‑Sharqiya and confiscated a private vehicle as it passed through the area.
Abductions and Restrictions in Hebron
In Ethna, west of Hebron in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted a resident, Mujahid Mohammad Mutlaq Abu Jheisha, after breaking into his home and searching it.
Soldiers also installed multiple military roadblocks at the entrances to Hebron city, its towns, villages, and refugee camps, and closed several main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
Invasions and Movement Restrictions in Bethlehem
Israeli forces invaded the area of Khalayel al‑Louz, southeast of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, spreading through several neighborhoods and installing military roadblocks at the entrances.
The invasion is part of ongoing restrictions imposed on the area, where residents report repeated closures, movement restrictions, and escalating attacks by Israeli colonizers, including breaking into agricultural land, cutting trees, and preventing farmers from reaching their property.
Later in the evening, Israeli forces invaded the town of al‑Khader, south of Bethlehem, positioning themselves near the “Gate” area and along the main Jerusalem–Hebron Road, and fired concussion grenades.
Invasions and Abductions in Tulkarem
In the Tulkarem area in the northwestern West Bank, an Israeli special forces unit invaded the Shweika areas north of the city and abducted Fadi Ja’run after breaking into his home on the western side of the district.
Abduction in Qalqilia
In Qalqilia, in northwestern West Bank, Israeli soldiers invaded several parts of the city, ransacked homes and abducted Moath Nofal from his home in the Naqqar neighborhood.
