Israeli army forces, Saturday night, shot a young Palestinian man in his eye with a rubber-coated steel bullet, during protests at the northern entrance of the city of al-Bireh.
The Ministry of Health said, in a press release, that the man was transferred to the Palestine Medical complex in the city of Ramallah, describing his injury as critical.
Since the announcement made by US president Donald Trump recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and plans to transfer the embassy from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv, Palestinians have observed “days of rage” to express rejection of this move.
