Israeli soldiers, manning checkpoints in the Tubas town in the West Bank, blocked Sunday morning movement of Palestinian vehicles while driving to the Alghour area.
Witnesses said that the Israeli soldiers on Tayaseer and Hamra checkpoints have delayed movement of vehicles, preventing students, workers, farmers and others from reaching their destinations.
In the Hebron city, south of West Bank, the Israeli army has impeded movement of Palestinian residents under the pretext of detonating a suspicious object in the Beit Kahel bridge area.
Meanwhile the Israeli army blocked early today two main checkpoints in Nablus city, preventing thousands of residents from passing to their destinations.
Israeli army maintains hundreds of checkpoints and roadblocks across the West Bank, thus hampering movement of Palestinians largely.
Israel has repeatedly said it would ease restrictions on movement, yet it has only relocated some of the checkpoints.
