On their weekly anti Wall protest, the residents of the village of Bil'in west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah were joined by Israeli and International peace activists.

During this week's protest the demonstrators carried with them the Palestinian flags and banners that denounce the construction of the settlements and the Wall, chanted slogans with the same meaning and took to the streets of the village. When they attempted to reach the barbed wire fence installed by the Israeli army near the construction site, the Israeli soldiers through loudspeakers, warned them not to pass and showered them with gas bombs and rubber coated bullets. Dozes of the participants suffered from inhaled gas. Two Intentional peace activists including a French and an Italian were injured.

The anti Wall popular committee that organized the protest said the construction of the settlements and the Wall will obstruct the possibility of establishing a viable Palestinian contiguous State.
