During an Israeli military operation on Wednesday morning in Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank of Jenin, a Palestinian youth,17, named as Shuja' Qreiny was critically injured in stomach. The operation was apparently carried out to abduct a Palestinian member of the al-Quds brigade, one of several Palestinian resistance groups.
Palestinian sources reported that the military invaded the area from several directions, while randomly firing heavy gunfire and searching homes before kidnapping a leader of the al-Quds brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad.
Sources declared that Israeli forces had placed Mohammad li'mour, a leader of the al-Quds brigade, on their 'wanted' list several months ago.
Local sources added that, as the army opened fire randomly on the residential neighborhood, they injured a Palestinian, leaving him hospitalized.
