Thousands of people took part in a funeral procession, on Friday, for Mahmoud Jihad Muhammad Dudeen, age 14, who was killed by Israeli forces during an overnight raid. Meanwhile, further clashes erupted between Palestinians and Israeli forces in Hebron and Beit Kahil, in the northern district.The procession began at the al-Kabir mosque in Doura, where mourners escorted Dudeen’s body to the town’s cemetery, chanting solidarity slogans and condemning Israel’s crimes against Palestinians.
The boy was struck by live bullets in the chest and pronounced dead pronounced dead, shortly after being taken to a hospital, according to local sources who also told Ma’an that soldiers opened fire on Mahmoud during the clashes which occurred in the Haninia neighborhood of Dura.
Another Palestinian, Mustafa Hosni Aslan, aged 22, also died on Friday after being shot in the head during an Israeli raid on Qalandia refugee camp south of Ramallah.
Clashes erupted between Palestinians and Israeli forces in Hebron again, on Friday, as well as in Beit Kahil town, in the northern district of Hebron, Ma’an further reports.
Soldiers blocked Wadi al-Kaff road, between Beit Kahil and Tarqumiya, where they constructed a military barrier.
In the Bab al-Zawiya area of central Hebron, local youth threw rocks at an al-Shuhadaa street military point, upon which soldiers responded with rubber-coated bullets and tear-gas.
