11:16 am report:
In Jabalia, in northern Gaza, Palestinian Civil Defense teams rescued a woman from the rubble of a bombarded home in the town.
The Palestinian Civil Defense reported at least fifty casualties, including wounded Palestinians, while many remain missing under the rubble after the army bombarded a four-story home in Jabalia town. The home housed Palestinians from the Dardouna family as well as many displaced Palestinians.
Medical sources said rescue teams said they found the corpses of four slain Palestinians and rescued six from under the rubble, adding that the teams are still trying to locate more missing Palestinians, but face enormous difficulties due to the lack of equipment amidst the ongoing bombing, siege, and destruction.
Also, three slain Palestinians, including two children, were found under the rubble of a bombarded home in Jabalia.
Additionally, the army sent an explosive robot into an area in the vicinity of Al-Awda hospital, in Jabalia refugee camp, causing serious damage and a fire that ravaged through a warehouse filled with medicine, before preventing Palestinian Civil Defense teams from extinguishing the fire.
Medical sources said at least three Palestinians were killed, and many injured, when the army bombarded a home on Al-Jala’ Street in Gaza City.
In Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, ten Palestinians were killed, and others injured, by Israeli missiles, after the army carried out five airstrikes at the main entrance area of the city.
The army also targeted Palestinians trying to rescue wounded Palestinians following the initial attack.
Also in central Gaza, a child, Nasra Al-Hawajiri, succumbed to serious wounds she suffered Thursday afternoon when the army bombarded the Nuseirat refugee camp.
In Gaza City, the army fired a missile at an apartment on Al-Jala’ Street, killing three Palestinians, including a child, and causing several injuries.
Additionally, the army fired several artillery shells at the northern and eastern areas of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.
Medical sources said two child siblings were killed, and their father was seriously injured, when the army fired a missile at a home for the Abu Aker family in Khan Younis refugee camp.
Furthermore, eleven Palestinians were killed and many were injured in an Israeli bombing of a home for the ad-Daghma family, in Abasan Al-Jadida town, east of Khan Younis.
Media sources said most of the casualties in the home are children, and added that some of the wounded Palestinians are in serious conditions.
In related news, medical sources said a young man, Mahmoud Roqab, 32, succumbed to serious wounds he suffered in an earlier Israeli bombing of Bani Soheila town, east of Khan Younis.
In Rafah, in Gaza’s southernmost part, the army fired many artillery shells at the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, in the western area of the city. The Israeli army also continued to wire and detonate many Palestinian homes and buildings in northern Gaza.
On Thursday, The World Food Programme (WFP) emphasized the urgent need to bring more essential food supplies into Gaza to prevent the worsening risk of famine.
In a statement shared on its X account, the organization warned that the recent limited entry of aid is insufficient to sustain the Palestinian population in the strip.
This concern comes as several bakeries supported by the WFP resumed operations in southern Gaza on Thursday, following the arrival of small quantities of flour.
The organization stated, “A handful of bakeries in Gaza have resumed production after receiving limited flour supplies, This is a critical first step, but assistance must be scaled up. More essential food is needed to push back the risk of famine. Bread alone is not enough for people to survive. But this alone is not enough to keep Palestinians in the strip alive.” It stressed that more essential food aid must be delivered to Gaza to avert famine.”

Gaza’s healthcare system is at a breaking point, with hospitals struggling under the strain of intensified Israeli military operations, mass displacement, and critical shortages of medical supplies.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has raised alarms over the worsening crisis, emphasizing that medical facilities are overwhelmed, under-resourced, and facing extreme operational challenges. With increasing casualties and dwindling resources, access to lifesaving care has become severely restricted for many residents.
Hospitals that remain partially operational are dealing with severe shortages of medicine, medical equipment, and fuel, pushing the healthcare infrastructure to near-total collapse. The crisis continues to escalate as humanitarian organizations struggle to deliver urgent aid.
In addition, Israeli sources said the army is preparing to advance into the final stage of “Operation Gideon’s Chariots” in the coming days.
Reports indicate that this phase will involve deploying thousands of soldiers into Gaza to seize new areas and “establish a lasting presence, accompanied by a large-scale evacuation of residents toward the southern region of the Gaza Strip.”
As part of the escalation, ground forces plan to push deeper into northern and central Gaza, expanding military offensives after a week of intense airstrikes.
The planned offensive also includes the widespread displacement of Palestinian civilians toward southern Gaza, particularly south of the Netzarim corridor, to displace the Palestinians from all areas in northern Gaza.
Additionally, the sources said humanitarian aid distribution is scheduled to begin on Sunday through a “U.S.-based company” at four designated distribution sites, one near Netzarim and three closer to Morag in Rafah, with Israeli security measures in place to “restrict aid from reaching Hamas.”
Meanwhile, international condemnation persists against the Israeli aggression and the blockade preventing the entry of food and humanitarian aid, deepening the hunger crisis for more than two million residents trapped in the besieged territory.
On Thursday evening, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Paris, London, and Ottawa of “encouraging Hamas to continue fighting indefinitely,” following their condemnation of his government’s “disgraceful actions” in Gaza.

In a video statement delivered in English, Netanyahu claimed that French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney “want Israel to surrender, accept the continued presence of Hamas forces, allow them to reorganize, and enable them to repeat the October 7 attack.”
He also alleged, “They may believe they are advancing the cause of peace, but they are not. Instead, they are encouraging Hamas to keep fighting without end.”
On Monday, Macron, Starmer, and Carney issued a joint statement warning that they would not remain “idle” in response to what they called Israel’s “disgraceful actions” in Gaza.
They hinted at “concrete measures” should Netanyahu’s government fail to halt its military operation and allow humanitarian aid to enter.
The joint statement also emphasized, “We are committed to recognizing a Palestinian state as part of a two-state solution, and we are prepared to work with others to achieve this goal.”
The statement referred to an upcoming United Nations conference in June, aimed at building an international consensus around this objective.

Since the resumption of the genocide on March 18, 2025, Israel has killed more than 3,613 Palestinians and injured more than 10,156.
The government media office in Gaza stated that 300 Palestinians have died due to the lack of medical supplies and food. Among these, 242 deaths were attributed to the lack of medical supplies and destroyed medical centers, while 58 resulted from malnutrition.
Additionally, the dire conditions and displacement have caused 3,000 pregnant women to lose their fetuses in the last 80 days.
In a comprehensive list, the Palestinian Health Ministry said earlier Thursday that the Israeli army has now killed 16,503 children since October 7, 2023, among them 916 under one year old, 4,365 between the ages of 1 and 5, 6,101 children aged 6 to 12 years, and 5,124 who are 13 to 17 years old.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks have killed at least 53,762 Palestinians, including 16,503 children, 9,808 women, and 245 journalists, while 122,197 have been injured, most of them women and children.
These figures remain incomplete, as an estimated 11,160 Palestinians are still missing, many trapped under rubble or stranded in locations unreachable by rescue teams.
