Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Tuesday at dawn, 25 Palestinians from their homes in Qalqilia city, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank. Two Palestinians injured on Monday evening, while the army also targeted an ambulance.Media sources in Qalqilia said dozens of soldiers invaded the city through its northern entrance, before breaking into and violently searching dozens of homes, and kidnapped 25 Palestinians; the soldiers also interrogated many families while searching their properties.
The kidnapped Palestinians have been identified as Yasser Hammad, 54, Ashraf Ghassan Jibrin, 33, Qassam Miskawi, Abdullah Ibrahim Milhem, 45, Amir Mohammad J’eidi, 24, Abdul-Fattah Sweilem, 40, Abdullah Zoheir Abu Walweel, Nidal Othman Da’aas, Hosni Sharif an-Neess, 34, Sameh Affana, Noureddin Daoud, 28, Nour Saleh Abu Yacoub, 24, Jamal Daoud, 50, Luay Freij, 45, Abdul-Nasser ar-Raby, 45, Bahjat al-Hindi, Fadi Walid Shreim, 38, Mohammad Abu Khader, Zaki Daoud, Mohammad Mardawi, Eyad Shobaki, Ali Khader, Amjad Hantash, Mojahed Nofal and Ayman Hilal.
On Monday evening, the soldiers invaded Qalqilia and clashed with dozens of local youths, who hurled stones and empty bottles on them.
The army fired rubber-coated steel bullets, wounding two Palestinians, while scores of residents suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The soldiers also fired rubber-coated steel bullets on a Red Crescent ambulance, causing damage.
