A senior Israeli military official said on Monday that soldiers abducted 4110 Palestinians in several Palestinian areas 2006. The sources stated that most of the abducted residents “were wanted to the Israeli security services”.The Israeli Radio reported that the official, who works at the general military command of the Central Region, said that the military abilities and operations in the West Bank created a significant drop in the “Palestinian attacks inside Israel”.

Moreover, the Israeli Radio added that soldiers in cooperation with the Shabak (Security Services) foiled on Monday morning a suicide bombing that was planned by Fateh gunmen.

Earlier on Monday, soldiers claimed uncovering and safely detonating two explosive belts in the Balata refugee camp, in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Under-cover forces of the Israeli army broke into a building in the city and took prisoner six members of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of Fateh.
