Israeli soldiers abducted, on Sunday at dawn, sixteen young Palestinian men from their homes, in the al-‘Isawiya town, in occupied East Jerusalem, and summoned several others for interrogation.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) said dozens of soldiers invaded the town, before storming and ransacking Palestinian homes.
Mohammad Mahmoud, a member of the Follow-Up Committee in the al-‘Isawiya, said Israel has been escalating its invasions and violations into the town, especially after killing Mohammad Obeid, 21, on June 17th , 2019.
Obeid stated that the soldiers abducted at fourteen Palestinians and summoned many others for interrogation.
He added that the soldiers have abducted more than 600 Palestinians in the town since then, in addition to the invasions and violent searches of business and property, the demolition of homes and the high fines imposed on the Palestinians.
The abducted young men have been identified as:

- Morad Anwar Obeid.
- Samer Anwar Obeid.
- Fadi Ali Oleyyan.
- Nasser Ali Mahmoud.
- Zakariya Oleyyan.
- Kayed Mahmoud.
- Marwan Dari.
- Ismael Mheisin.
- Akram Mustafa.
- Yousef Mohammad Darwish.
- Mohammad Safadi.
- Jamal ‘Atiya.
- Mohammad Zahra.
- Mahmoud Kayed.
- Mahmoud Nasser.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers decided to release eleven of them; Zakariya Oleyyan, Sami Obeid, Marwan Obeid, Fadi Mustafa, Marwan Dari, Samer Obeid, Mahmoud Kayed, Kamal Atiya, Mohammad Zahra, Mahmoud Nasser, and Fadi Oleyyan, after threatening to abduct and imprison them, in addition to threatening to revoke their Jerusalem ID cards.
