Two Palestinian policemen where shot and injured, on Thursday night, after exchanging fire with fighter of Al Aqsa martyrs Brigades, the military wing of Fateh movement, in the West Bank city of Nablus.

Apparently, the gun fire erupted after a dispute over a stolen vehicle.
 
Palestinian policemen were dismantling a booth which was illegally setup by merchants, in the city.
 
Palestinian Minister of interior and national security, Nasser Yousef, said that the Palestinian Authority would do everything in its power in order to impose Law and Order in the Palestinian controlled areas.
 
Yousef added that the P.A is determined to end the phenomenon of public display of weapons and all sorts of insecurity.
 
As the tension became higher in the city after the shooting, a senior Palestinian police source reported that the police are determined to locate the assailants and put them on trial.
