Israeli soldiers continued their military operations in the West Bank, and arrested six residents in the West Bank city of Hebron, raising the number of residents arrested in the on Wednesday to twelve; at least 17 residents were injured during the invasions.
Eleven residents were injured in the West Bank city of Nablus, among them a 14-year old child who suffered a serious injury in his head.
Israeli soldiers denied firing at the child and claimed that they fired at resistance fighters during clashes which erupted after invading the city.
Also on Wednesday, soldiers arrested six residents in several areas in Hebron, south of the West Bank.
The Hebron office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society reported that soldiers invaded the city of Hebron and its nearby village of Sa’ir, Beit Ummar, Doura, and Al Arroub refugee camp.
The office identified the arrested residents as Ibarhim Mohammad Rajoub, 29, who works as a reporter with Al Quds daily newspaper in Jerusalem, Adham Ibrahim Al Mtoour, 28, from Sa’ir, Faisal Mahmoud Iklhmayyes, 20, from Beit Ummar, and Jihad Ibrahim Nimir, 16, from Al Arroub refugee camp.
At least one resident was injured during clashes which erupted in Hebron, several other residents suffocated after inhaling gas fired by the army.
Also, two residents were arrested in Al Obeydiyya village, east of Bethlehem after the soldiers invaded it and conducted military searches of homes.
In Tulkarem, north of the West Bank, soldiers invaded Al Ras village, broke into and searched dozens of homes.
Soldiers also placed a sand barrier on the road which links between Tulkarem and Bazaria village.

Israeli soldiers arrested six Palestinian residents, and injured six others, including two children in several invasions carried out in Jenin, Bethlehem and Nablus, in the West Bank earlier on Tuesday.
A local source in Jenin, north of the West Bank, reported that soldiers arrested two residents after invading the city and its refugee camp, after breaking into dozens of homes.
Two brothers, identified as Adel and Jamil Mahmoud Al Damj, 26 and 24, were arrested in Jenin refugee camp, after soldiers broke into their home and several surrounding homes.
A medical source ay Khalil Suleiman Hospital in Jenin reported that one child was moderately injured after a military dog attacked him and bit him close to his thigh; the child was identified as Fadel Abdul-Rahman, 12.
In Bethlehem, soldiers invaded Al Asakra village, south east of the city, and arrested three residents.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that soldiers invaded the village after surrounding it, conducted military searches of homes, and arrested Karim Khalaf Asakra, 19, Mohammad Sami Oweida, 19, and Salim Talab Asakra, 24.
Also on Wednesday, soldiers invaded Ras Al Ein neighborhood, in the West Bank city of Nablus, and fired at dozens of homes in Khseika Street, and arrested one resident; damage was reported, three residents, including one child were injured.
A medical source in Nablus identified the injured residents as Qasem Kalbouna, Ehab Salha, and a 10-year old child, Mohammad Mahmoud Abdo.
The arrested resident was identified as Mohammad Abdul-Rahman Zaghloul.
Also, soldiers broke into the homes of Abu Al Abed Saima, Nader Al Sa’eh, and several other homes, forced the residents out, and searched their homes.
One home, which is owned by resident, Suleiman Kharma, burnt as a result of military fire during the invasion; soldiers obstructed the fire-distinguishers vehicle, and the home was completely burnt.
Dozens of military roadblocks were installed around Nablus, especially in the north of the city, in addition to Al Far’a-Tubas, and Tammoun junctions.
In Qalqilia area, north of the West Bank, soldiers installed dozens of roadblocks on the road which links the city with Nablus, and roads which links the city with the surrounding villages.
