Israeli soldiers injured, Friday, several Palestinians in the Bab az-Zawiya area, in the center of Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers resorted to the excessive use of force against Palestinian protesters, and fired many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at them.
They added that many residents suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, before receiving the needed treatment by local medics.
The soldiers also invaded and searched homes in the area, in addition to occupying the rooftop of one of the homes to use it as a monitoring tower and a firing post.
