On Sunday, Israeli colonialist settlers, illegally squatting on Palestinian lands, invaded farmlands in the Ein al-Hilweh area, in the West Bank’s Northern Plains, and bulldozed them.
Mahdi Daraghma, the head of the al-Maleh and the Bedouin Communities Council, said the colonists bulldozed lands owned by the residents of Ein al-Hilweh.
He added that Ein al-Hilweh has one of the several springs in the Northern Plains, providing the needed water for the residents, their farmlands, and livestock, instead of buying it at an excessive price from other areas.
Daraghma stated that the colonists have intensified their violations, trying to confiscate more Palestinian lands, and the essential natural springs, in various areas of the Northern Plains, in the Jordan Valley.
Also Sunday, Israeli colonists bulldozed farmlands in the Masafer Yatta area, east of Yatta town, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
