Israeli soldiers abducted, earlier Wednesday, twenty Palestinians, including former political prisoner, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, during massive invasions and violent searches of homes and property.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded Shu’fat refugee camp, northeast of the city, searched homes, and abducted Jassem Sandouqa, from his home in Ras Khamis neighborhood.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes in Beit Ummar town, north of the city, before abducting two former political prisoners, identified as Yousef Abdul-Hamid Abu Mariya, 46, and Majdi Mirshid Za’aqeeq, 17, in addition to Amro Khaled al-‘Allami, 19, and Adyar Evan Sleibi, 18.
In addition, the coordinator of the National and Popular Committees against the Annexation Wall and Colonies in Hebron, Rateb Jabour, said many army jeeps invaded Yatta town, south of Hebron, before the soldiers stormed homes and abducted Jihad Khalil Abu Arram, 30, a senior political leader of Fateh movement.
The searched homes are owned by Fateh members, identified as Ibrahim Khaled al-Jondi, Khalil Yousef Abu Arram (political prisoner), former political prisoner Omar al-Hreini, Taleb Mousa Makhamra (political prisoner), Arkan Yousef Abu Arram, Ibrahim Shawaheen, Anas Hasan, and Yousef Abu Arram.
In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers ransacked many homes before abducting four Palestinians from the towns of al-Yamoun, Aneen and Jalboun, identified as Jihad Nawahda, his son Aseed, in addition to Jamal Taiseer Yassin, and Fuad Najeh Abu ar-Rob.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers searched many homes in several parts of the governorate, before abducting eight Palestinians, identified as Abdullah Mohammad Samhan, Ahmad Zaghloul Samhan, Moayyad Fares Samhan, Nidal Hasan Sarhan, Anas Mohammad Sarhan, Mahmoud Khaled Sarhan, Moayyad Taha Abu Fkheitha, in addition to Hadar Makho, the head of Down Syndrome Friends Society.
In Tulkarem, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Rami Abdullah at-Tayyah, 44, from his home in the Southern Neighborhood.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Odai Radwan Daraghma, 33, from Tubas, in northeastern West Bank, while crossing a military roadblock near Taiseer village, east of the city.
In related news, the soldiers invaded several homes in Marah Rabah village and the al-Khader town, near Bethlehem, south of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank, and interrogated many residents.
