Israeli soldiers invaded Askar refugee camp, near the West Bank city of Nablus, and shot four Palestinians; two were seriously injured.
Army source claimed that soldiers also fired at two armed Palestinians during the invasion but it was not clear if they were hit.
Earlier in the day, soldiers claimed arresting a Palestinian youth at Huwwara checkpoint, near the West Bank city of Nablus. According to the army, the youth carried two knives and three firebombs.
In a separate incident, the Israeli police arrested 250 Palestinians working in Israel without “obtaining legal permits”.
One resident was arrested on the main Tel Aviv-Jerusalem highway. Israeli security source claimed that a helicopter-directed police chase captured a van transporting a would-be suicide bomber carrying explosives.
